Privacy Policy
Pickletext is a service of 11 Tigers, Inc. (“Pickletext,” “11 Tigers,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our websites, text-messaging services, organizer tools, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
Information we collect
We may collect information you provide directly, including your name, mobile telephone number, email address, mailing or shipping address, account information, player-pool information, game details, message preferences, consent records, support requests, and communications with us.
When you use the Services, we may also collect message activity, delivery and response status, game participation, waitlist activity, device and browser information, IP address, approximate location derived from your IP address, log data, and information collected through cookies or similar technologies.
If purchasing becomes available, we may collect order, shipping, and transaction information. Payment-card information will be processed by our payment provider and is not stored directly by Pickletext.
How we use information
We use information to provide and operate the Services; create and administer accounts and player pools; send game invitations, confirmations, waitlist updates, reminders, cancellations, account verification messages, and support responses; process orders; record and honor messaging choices; prevent fraud and misuse; troubleshoot and improve the Services; comply with legal obligations; and protect Pickletext, our users, and others.
Text messaging and consent
We collect and maintain records showing when, where, and how a person consented to receive text messages. Pickletext sends messages only for the programs to which a recipient has consented. Game-coordination message frequency varies based on activity and may be up to seven messages per week for each active game. Message and data rates may apply.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. After opting out, you may receive one final message confirming your request, and no further messages will be sent unless you provide fresh consent. Reply HELP for help or contact hello@pickletext.com.
Mobile information, text-messaging originator opt-in data, and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We may share this information with service providers solely as necessary to operate the text-messaging program, such as messaging and hosting providers, subject to contractual restrictions on their use of the information.
How we disclose information
We may disclose information to vendors and service providers that perform services for us, including communications, hosting, data storage, security, analytics, payment processing, and order fulfillment. We may also disclose information when required by law; to protect rights, safety, and security; in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets; or with your direction or consent.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than providing the Services, preventing fraud, and complying with law.
Cookies and analytics
We may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Services functioning, remember preferences, understand usage, and improve performance. You can adjust browser settings to limit cookies, although parts of the Services may not function correctly as a result.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, honor consent and opt-out records, fulfill transactions, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary according to the type of information and why it was collected.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information by emailing hello@pickletext.com. You may also opt out of promotional email through the unsubscribe link in the message and opt out of text messages by replying STOP. Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional privacy rights. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Children’s privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Third-party services
The Services may link to or integrate with third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for those practices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. If required by law, we will provide additional notice.
